The paper will include two passages for translation-one passage for translation from Hindi to English and one passage for translation from English to Hindi, and an Essay each in Hindi and English, to test the candidates’ translation skills and their ability to write along with comprehend the two languages accurately, precisely and effectively.

. Paper-II shall be evaluated in respect of only those candidates, who attain the minimum qualifying standard in Paper-I or part thereof as may be fixed at the discretion of the Commission.. Master’s degree of a recognized university in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi or English as a compulsory or elective subject or either of the two medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level: and.

Candidates who are preparing for OPSC Junior Lecturer and Civil Services Exam, They are required to know complete OPSC Syllabus and OPSC Exam Pattern in detail for better preparation of exam.

Candidates should have good knowledge of the languages and literature, phrases and idioms, correct use of words, and ability to write the languages correctly, precisely and effectively.. The Commission hold full discretion to fix minimum qualifying marks component-wise in Paper-I and II for different categories, i.e., UR, SC, ST, OBC, etc.
